St. Joseph Wetland

INHS wetland staff have collaborated with the Champaign County Soil and Water Conservation District (CCSWCD) in the restoration of 67 acres of wetland on the edge of St. Joseph, Illinois, as well as educational outreach endeavors. Bird, botanical, wetland ecology, aquatic invertebrate investigations, and a month-long Bioblitz utilizing iNaturalist are recent community activities.
